Minimum Requirements
All of the operators on #PartyChat were long time regulars on the channel (at least 6 months) before being
oped. All ops have a working knowlege of both IRC and network commands. On #PartyChat, all scripts used in
channel must coordinate with the network's two main service bots ... Chanserv and Nickserv, and contain
absolutely NO warscripting.
Future ops are nominated by existing channel operators ONLY.
Nominations are e-mailed to all existing ops for consideration.
Feedback on the nomination is collected by the founder who decides if the nominee has a strong enough chance
to go on to an aops vote judging from the responses collected from all existing ops.
Successful nominees are monitored and evaluated by the existing ops for a one month period after the nomination
is confirmed by the founder. Nominees are not told of the nomination during the observation period.
After the observation period, the founder will call for an aop vote. Existing channel ops will present their
evaluations and reasons for voting for or against granting aops.
If successful, the person will be asked if she/he is interested in becoming a #PartyChat op and if s/he accepts,
they will be added to the aops list.
